You might not think of yourself as a carer but ask yourself these questions:
Do you look after anybody or do things for other people, whether a family member, relative, friend, neighbour, whether you work or not?
Are you a young person (under 18) looking after or regularly helping for someone else (family member or other person)?
The practice would like to know if you are a carer. We like to register all of our carers so our staff can be aware of your caring role and are able to support you in this. We would also like to know what more we can do as a practice to help support you. If you undertake a caring role please contact the surgery to allow a member of the reception team to update our records.
Caring for someone can be very difficult and many people find that they need extra help with the care they provide.
